Water tanks, food boxes and many other kinds of insolated containers are double-walled in most cases. The gap between the two walls has to be filled with insolation foam. For excellent temperature insulation, the intensity of contact of the insulation foam with the polymer surfaces is most important. To avoid any foundry and bubbles, an anticavitation agent is necessary. However, usual plasma rails are only able to treat open surfaces. They are incapable of reaching the narrow space between the inner cell walls.
Anseros developed an ozone treatment principle for the treatment of the narrow spaces between double walls. The resulting surface structure is similar to the feet of a gecko. Geckos are lizards which can walk vertically on unroughened surfaces, for example on glass panes. They have a foot design with highest adhesion rates.
Food Processing & Hygiene Systems
Anseros has developed ozone treatment systems for food processing. Screw conveyers, conveyer belts and blowers for example are treated with ozone injectors for optimum sterilization. In addition to being effective on a broader spectrum of microorganisms, ozone is of particular interest to the food industry because it is 52% stronger than chlorine.
Ozone is easily generated on site. Ozone generators are compact and can be installed right where they are needed at the processing line. This is particularly handy because, depending on the product, ozone may actually be applied in more than one way.
Dry leafs of plants, petals of flowers, saffron and food grains can also be treated on ozonized screw conveyers during packaging and transportation.
Foil Treatment & Sterlization Systems
Ozone has a positive effect on achieving better adhesion in extrusion coating processes. Ozone is most effective when used in conjunction with either corona pre-treatment or flame pre-treatment.
Ozone treatment in extrusion lines provides for good bonds between the foils due to efficient oxidation of the foil surfaces.
