Ozone containment in ambient air. The atmosphere contains gaseous ozone, which passes into factories and buildings due to natural air circulation and ventilation. Ozone is also created by electric discharge and light radiation inside industrial plants. Particularly in case of rubber products such as tires, the influences of ozone is important with respect to the material quality. One distinctive natural quality of rubber is to “age” faster under the influence of ozone – it gets cracks and rapidly loses quality when exposed to ozone gas. For this application purpose, Anseros offers catalytic devices based on ceramics that destroy ozone by means of room air circulation.
